TASI (the Theoretical Advanced Summer Institute) takes place at the university of Colorado in Boulder, which offers the opportunity to go hiking and climbing on weekends in the surrounding mountains. There are a lot of amazing places for outdoor climbing, and hikes ranging from the relatively chill Flatirons to the 14,000+ footers in Rocky Mountain National Park, which were all covered in snow about 10,500 feet in the summer of 2022.
